LinkedIn Outreach

LinkedIn is one of the two channels my team runs, next to cold email. This section is for founders who want LinkedIn to produce sales calls and who want to do it without losing the account.

I treat LinkedIn as a place for conversations. Conversations turn into calls, and a pitch in the first message skips the step that makes the call possible. The profile does more work than the message: a stranger who gets your request will open it, and a plain message from a convincing profile beats a polished one from an empty profile. On volume, I plan for about 2,800 people a month from one established profile at most, and I add real team profiles when that is not enough. Real profiles only. No shared logins, no rented accounts.

The common failures follow from ignoring that. Long pitches sent the moment a request is accepted. Statistics quoted from pages that never published them. Agencies asking for your password. Automation pushed past limits until LinkedIn restricts the account and the restart takes weeks.

The articles below are grouped by what you are trying to decide. Whether LinkedIn fits your pipeline at all: the 2026 numbers, benchmarks and the B2B statistics that survive a source check. How to run it: what to send after a connection, warm outbound after likes and comments, video, X-ray search, and running several profiles. Keeping it safe: limits, InMail credits, restrictions and agency access. Who does the work: a virtual assistant, a ghostwriter or an outreach agency.

Start with whether LinkedIn outreach still works, then what to send after a request is accepted, then the limits page before you touch any automation.
