A marketing agency in the United States booked 277 sales calls and signed 34 contracts in 60 days with Smirnov Consulting Group. The contracts averaged $7,500, and sales passed $255,000. We ran LinkedIn outreach with email follow-ups, then added cold email after the first week.
The agency had no predictable way to win clients
The agency sold marketing services to other businesses. Its problem was simple to state: it needed predictable client acquisition.
Referrals and one-off wins do not give you that. A plan needs a number of booked sales calls you can count on each week, with the kind of companies you want to work with.
We rebuilt what prospects would see, then built the machine
The order matters here. Sending came near the end.
- We built targeted lists with Sales Navigator, Apollo and Uplead.
- We rewrote the LinkedIn profiles of the people sending, so a prospect who clicked through saw what the agency does and for whom.
- We built a new entry offer: one clear first step instead of a list of services.
- We added a short video sales letter to the agency's home page.
- We split the territories, so each account and each rep had their own prospects and nobody got the same pitch twice.
- We wrote 6-step outbound sequences with different messages to test, in three scenarios. One opened with a connection request. The other two opened with a profile view and an InMail where InMail was free.
- We connected email follow-ups to the LinkedIn steps.
- We verified every email with NeverBounce to keep the bounce rate below 0.5%.
- After the first week, we added cold email campaigns to raise the volume.
One account alone sent 1,735 InMails and 3,143 emails
Several LinkedIn and email accounts ran in parallel. The volume figures below come from one of those accounts, so the full campaign sent more.
| What we tracked | Number |
|---|---|
| InMails sent, one account | 1,735 |
| Emails sent, one account | 3,143 |
| Replies | 962 |
| Sales calls booked | 277 |
| Contracts signed | 34 |
277 calls turned into 34 contracts worth over $255,000
The results after 60 days:
- 277 sales calls booked
- 34 contracts signed, at an average of $7,500
- Over $255,000 in sales
The agency's own team ran those calls and closed the deals. Our part ends when a qualified call is on the calendar.
The next step was horizontal scaling. The plan was to reach 350 to 400 sales calls a month by adding LinkedIn accounts, building more lists and adding reps. The winning sequence gets copied onto more accounts. Nobody pushes one inbox harder.
Another agency can repeat this if it can handle the calls
277 calls in 60 days is more than four calls a day, every day, for two months. That only turns into revenue if people are free to take them and the agency can deliver the work that closes.
Two more conditions. The service has to be worth enough per contract to justify the work: here the average was $7,500. And a prospect who checks you out has to find a profile, a video and a home page that tell the same story. That is why steps 2 to 4 came before any sending.
If your agency has those in place, the steps above are the ones we would run again. If it does not, those come first, and they take time before the first message goes out.
