Smirnov Consulting Group ran LinkedIn-only outreach for a software development company. In 30 days the campaign got 392 replies and 29 booked sales calls, and the company signed 5 contracts worth EUR 246,000 combined.

This campaign ran on LinkedIn and nothing else
No cold email and no ads. Every reply, call and contract on this page came from LinkedIn outreach. That makes it a clean test of what one channel can do when the list and the profile are right.
We built the list and the profile before the first message
The steps below are the process we published alongside these numbers.
- A narrow list. We filtered by job title, geography, industry and company headcount. Then we narrowed further: 2nd-degree connections where possible, people who had posted on LinkedIn in the last 30 days (to reach people who are active on LinkedIn), and extra filters such as an open job position for a specific role or company keywords.
- A profile that converts. A prospect decides in about 30 seconds whether to keep reading. The profile says who you help, how, and shows case studies. If the profile does not convert, it breaks everything after it.
- An entry offer. We sold a sales call, usually on Zoom. Selling the service in the first message rarely works.
- A short video sales letter on the home page, so people who click through have an easy way to get to know the company.
- 7-step sequences with different messages and versions for different scenarios. One or two messages are not enough.
- Horizontal scaling once something works: more LinkedIn accounts running the winning sequence.
One channel, 392 replies

5 contracts in 30 days, and more still in the pipeline
The 5 contracts average EUR 49,200 each. Many leads were still in the pipeline when we reported, so EUR 246,000 was the total at that point, not the final figure.
Of 392 replies, 29 became calls. Most replies are questions, polite refusals or "not now". That is the normal shape of a working campaign, so we report each stage as its own number.
What it means for a software company that wants to start on LinkedIn
LinkedIn alone can carry a first campaign. Here it did, on a list built with the filters above and a profile that held up when prospects clicked on it.
The limit is volume. We plan around roughly 2,800 people per LinkedIn account per month. When you need more conversations than your accounts can reach, you add accounts or add cold email on top.
LinkedIn-only is one of several setups we run
- Outbound for software development companies
- More client case studies
